I wouldn't chose either, but if I had to have one, then black. |

Please tell me that they're not expensive watches. The orange one looks like my son's Action Man watch, and the black one just looks tacky. Pie FTW |

It's a niche Japanese thing. People with expensive and/or classy taste just don't understand ![]() These things are some of the hardest watches on the planet. I don't care for "fashion accessory" style watches. They're solar powered and atomic synced, so should last in excess of 20years of abusive everyday use. Which is far more important to me than whether I look the part in a fancy restaurant. |

Don’t like either of them - horrid plasticky looking chunky things. I don’t go for over complex looking watches. Sorry. |

No need to apologise Paul. Nobody else did! Like I said, function over form for me (aside from colour choice of course). |

I like the look of the black one. I love the inverse LCD display. (i.e. white on black). I had pretty much the same reaction from everyone in a recent watch thread I started not too long ago. ![]() As long as you like it and it works then that's the best thing to go for IMO. |

Why? Is the orange one significantly larger? |

Touche Jim. They're both the exact same model. Just different special editions. The orange one was originally Japan only, but I think I might be able to get one here now. The black one is definitely available here. Oli, I like the reverse display as well. Seems I'm not going to get many interesting opinions. That's cool. I kinda prefer the black, I just thought the orange was even more of a DILLYGAF kinda statement to everyone (including people in this thread) who are classier/cooler/posher than me ![]() |
