I've scored a lift with a friend on Wednesday night to run errands in Wimbledon for the promise of dinner - but apart from the cornish pasty stall at the train station I've never eaten in the area.

I'll be heading here: http://www.servicedept.co.uk/contact.html

Anyone here familar with the locale and know of anywhere good to eat? My driver for the evening is fairly fussy and prefers simple wholesome food to fancy spicy things - think pub/gastro-pub.
