either that is chav language or an impersonation of an accent who you would just want to punch, repeatedly

Sorry no-one seems to be able to help. I can't either, but one thought occurred.
Shouldn't they be called plasticers now?

Plumbum Plasticus Yes, yes they should. Edit: Actually, following the pattern perhaps it would be 'Plasters'.

The guy I use doesn't work much outside of West London but it might be worth a try - PM sent with his details. Trouble is that a lot of plumbers are mad busy at this time of year you put your heating on for the first time and suddenly there's a problem with the boiler/rad/whatever...
Hope you get it sorted - what type of 'playing up' are you having with your boiler?
Peter
Edit - not everyone uses plastic pipe and fittings, so 'plumber' will do just fine!

I thought it was a euthamism. By the way, although my accent is now a lot less pronounced than it used to be, it only takes a few drinks to come back... does that mean I'm in line for a punch bratty? Well... does it?
