If you could start again with your life and change ONE thing what would you change?

For me I'd change how I look after my teeth.

I think it was due to my Grandma working at a dentist's surgery and being too pushy that made me look after them less ... or something.

Anyway, I just ate a chocolate eclair sweet thing and it pulled a filling out of my tooth. Although I have to say that it was a particularly badly done filling.

Oh boy, nice easy question for a Friday?! ;)
I don't know.
Maybe I'd have stayed at Fragile Films.
Maybe I'd have gone to Holland and followed my heart.
Maybe I'd have taken up Alwin Kuchlers offer of training.

Umm, yeah, I'm thinking you should've probably done all of those :shock:

Damn Al, wtf ARE you doing?! ;)

I honestly can't think of any one thing I could change that would make a positive enough impact on my life, so as to be worth considering. I suppose I should keep thinking a little longer though.

I can honestly say I wouldn't change one single thing.

Point is, my life is as pretty near perfect as it could be (without a lottery windfall) and everything that has happened in my life, both good and bad have led me to this point, the person that I am now. I firmly believe that I am the sum of my experiences and so without that one crucial thing or event, perhaps I would be living a very different life now?!

Unless I get a Sliding Doors movie made about my life I suppose I shall never know, but if I had to change one thing, and it would change the life I lead now, then I wouldn't change a thing.

There are a couple of things, I guess.

I wish I'd gone to 6th form, and then on to art college. I might have got where I am now a bit quicker and maybe have a bit more talent and income.

I wish I'd followed my dream to go into radio. It could still happen, but it's extremely unlikely now.

But what's the point in wishing? Non, je ne regrette rien.

I think I'm with Zippy.
I was thinking that I would have asked my girlfriend out 6 months earlier, if I had we would have probably spent the second your of uni living together, making this year much more difficult being apart, or maybe I'd be stuck with a crappy job in Aber...
I then thought I should have probably put more effort into last year at uni, but having said that I'm where I want to be for the time being, and the time wasn't spent on computer games or TV or something equally as useless, it was spent on doing things with my girlfriend which was fun and constructive to a relationship, or giving lectures, etc.

I couldn't change anything big, maybe I might change what I had for dinner last night,or rather how much I ate...Should have stopped at half my Chinese and left some for tonight...

I'd have tried harder not to go bat-poop crazy at uni. It would have been nice to actually finish my degree and go into research like I'd planned from the age of about 6, rather than bumming around achieving nothing of any consequence.

However, I probably did have more fun being silly than I would have had taking life seriously.

Actually, I wish I had listened more, everywhere, but mainly in school.
I realise that I can understand a lot of things, I just need to take time and for someone to talk things out with me. I wish I had paid more attention and not been afraid to ask more questions so I had better choices when it came to A-levels...

I doubt many people would disagree with that one

There's a few things, try harder at school, maybe say goodbye to my Dad. Don't know really, maybe just spice it up a bit. I'm fresh out of Paprika at the moment.

I'd have tried harder in my first two years at college and hopefully thus got into a better university.

Oh, and try harder to avoid red numbers. ;)

Would've been more grateful for school.

Public-school educated and I hated it.

Looking back on it, it was excellent and gave me great opportunities. Most of which I should have taken more advantage of.

Oh well.

Regrets, Ive had a few;
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.

I planned each charted course;
Each careful step along the byway,
But more, much more than this,
I did it my way.

Yes, there were times, Im sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew.
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it up and spit it out.
I faced it all and I stood tall;
And did it my way.

Ive loved, Ive laughed and cried.
Ive had my fill; my share of losing.
And now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.

To think I did all that;
And may I say - not in a shy way,
No, oh no not me,
I did it my way.

Wouldn't have started a life-long addiction to Coke at the age of three :oops:
