Doesn't matter. It is apple related so it can go anywhere. That's how things are around here. It is only fair that it stays right? ![]() *crossed his fingers |

During the WWDC presentation for the iPhone 4, Jobs was having reception problems. Was it because he was holding it in a certain way? http://www.macrumors.com/2010/06/24/ste ... non-issue/ However, it is also noted that other mobile phones can also experience dead spots. http://www.macrumors.com/2010/06/24/oth ... ss-issues/ This doesn’t stop me from wanting one. I’ll save up… |

Although not news as it's the daily mash. Probably should be in the rendom sh*t thread (or we need a daily mash thread) |

It may not be news but TDM does capture what we all think so perfectly. There is nothing wrong with a TDM link in a thread about a particular story. |

I only really flagged it for consistency. ![]() This is a definite TMP topic. The original is a definite ITN topic. |

I always find it hilarious how people get wound up by the simplest of things. It's a quick way to take 10 years off your life. ![]() |

Interesting article on antennae and why they are where they are in phones. http://www.antennasys.com/antennasys-bl ... ennas.html And, more importantly, why they start not working too well when you hold the phones. Clue: FCC regulations. |

I am frankly surprised that Apple let this out without solving this problem. Though if a bumper solves it that might be a good enough solution. I suppose they did not notice it because the test model was lost and ended up on Gizmondo. ![]() |

For a company that prides itself on its design and the mantra "it just works" this is one hell of a cock up. Having to buy an optional extra so you can maintain a signal is not what anyone in their right mind would call good design.. well except for the truley deluded and those seeing the added sales in extras!! |
