Since there wasn't a thread... I'm just watching a match that is 40-40 in the fifth set. That's not points, that's games as there is no tie break in set five at Wimbledon. They've been playing for more than 7.5 hours. Unbelievable.

I heard about this on the radio, on my way home - it was 30 games each then; and they were nine minutes away from having the longest tennis match in history. I'm guessing they want to hold that record for some time.

Whoever plays the winner is going to have an easy match, the poor lad will be knackered.

It's like the end of Rollerball where they change the rules to attempt to eliminate Johnny...

Mental. Just watching while it's half-time. 53-53 and 0-30, could it be at an end?

I would have thought the Frenchman would have surrendered by now.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I spoke too soon 54-54. Maybe I'll catch up after the football.

Isner weighed in at 240lbs. I'd love to know what he weighs at the end of this.

Ended my arse. The pansies just went off for some sleep. They start up again in the morning. What's the betting that one of them breaks straight away and th ematch is over in minutes?

Aye, anybody would think 10 hours is a hard days graft. In my day you'd be lucky to even dream of only working 10 hours....
