I required a quarter inch Allen key last night. I'm pleased to say, not only do I have one but I was able to locate it in less than a minute.

I now have a disassembled dining table in my house. I feel slightly smug.

Do you have one? Do you know where it is?

Yes and yes.
Actually, I think I have more than one, as various electrical tools I've got came with sets of tools and allen bits were included.

Got both imperial and metric , from less than a mm to more than 1/4 inch, how sad.

A bloke needs the right tools....... :D

Got 2 sets of Allen keys - one in the utility cupboard so I don't have to go outside and the other in the garage. I also have 2 sets of multi tools which include Allen key bits

I know exactly where mine are as I spent yesterday assembling a cot I inherited from my brother-in-law which had no instructions and no allen key. However, whether or not I've got a quarter inch one, I'm not sure. I suspect it's a metric set as they're all numbered in decimal points.

Yes. It's in my desk tidy (which is a name for keeping things tidy on a small portion of my desk, where the rest is perpetual untidiness).

It came with my posh office chair, and I use it periodically to tighten things up.

There's a whole pack of various sizes on a shelf behind me, too.

Shouldn't it be in a draw marked Allen Keys?

I've got lots. Bought some a while back but hardly use them (was originally for the bike maintenance I think)
