Do they pay per image, or an annual/continuous subscription fee? Is there actually any evidence that this cost the BBC extra money?

Whatever, it seems the offending image was replaced at some point during the day by someone who had rushed out with their camera phone...

My guess is the Beeb does have an annual contract thing with Getty. Still, it was a bit dumb, when considering the subject of the article.

They’s changed it AGAIN. Now a Getty Image of the Bush House name plate.

They changed it twice since my last post. One was a LoMo type of image. Today, they have a BBC credited picture of TV Centre.
