Did anyone see Friday Night with Jonathan Ross last... err... Friday night?

When I saw the announcement of the guests and that Robin Williams was there I was almost tempted to turn off as I have seen a few interviews of his that have been embarrassing to watch.

However, he came on and seemed to be a nice guy and was ridiculously funny (IMHO). I was actually laughing out loud at several parts.

I know he tends to split opinions so I thought I'd ask for yours :D

On a side note, fracking hell Elle McPherson is ridiculously hot and she's 46, she'd get away with being 30!!

Saw this thread and thought you were going to say he'd died! I don't care for him one way or another really but he is better as a stand up than in films.

Yes, Elle is quite the looker.

Personally, I'd say the reverse.

I grew up watching his (kids) films and loved them, I've seen some of his standup and been disappointed...

His improvisational stuff is impressive.

I quite like his stand-up act too.

Plus, Mork & Mindy rocks!

Elle is bloody gorgeous! Stunning.

Looking forward to Robin. I really should go to bed though, so perhaps I'll report back tomorrow.

I love Robin in both his films and stand-up, although I've not seen much of the latter.

Good Morning Vietnam is probably his best, IMHO, but I do like the more serious, yet rebellious, part he plays in Dead Poets Society.

Some of his films are embarassing, but Dead Poets, Awakenings, Patch Adams are great.

I love his stand up, or at least the older stuff. I had a video of him live at a small theatre in San Francisco and like at the Met, the former was truly inspired and had me rolling on the floor, the latter was very good, but paled in comparison.

I stayed up. What a div. Then the sun woke me up moments ago. So I now I feel [LIFTED]. However, Robin Williams was very funny. Thanks for the tip Oli!

Elle though. I mean seriously. Yes. Please.

I didn't watch it, and I honestly thought, (until someone mentioned films) that you were talking about the fat dancer fro Take That.

Both Elle and Robin were great, but especially Elle:

I think Elle has lost the ability to smile. Her mouth see s incapable of moving up beyond a certain point. Geologists may need to be summoned to determine the correct strata stopping this naturally pleasing human reaction from happening.

You could be right. But hey, so be it. The rest of her's epic.

She's looking good for her age, but I wouldn't say she was defying it.

Also, "What dreams may come" is weird but a great film nonetheless.
