Need a phone for work that will take good quality pictures and has email feature so I can send back to work info on faulty products when I'm out inspecting.

Allowance is £150

Any suggestions?

Well not Samsung at any rate. My old one was terrible for blurring photos. My wifes new one is a lot better, but still poor at any rate.

Dear god no, not a Samsung. Worst phone I've ever owned. Poorly thought through to cash in on the popular touch screen thing. Yeauch.
Maybe a high end Pony Ericsson? Not bad cameras at any rate.

As you'd expect from a company that also makes digital cameras.

Camera wise you'll want a Sony, something like the C902 or C905.

For e-mail you can't beat a BlackBerry. I managed to get my hands on a Storm 2 for a little bit more than your budget.

I had a C905 before my iPhone and the camera was very good.

Also has an email client.

You can't beat Blackberry and iphone for email. I had a Nokia 5800 which produced very good photos and i always received my emails correctly on it too.

The IMAP on my C902 works fine for what I need, but I haven't tried SMTP yet as I don't really need it. The camera is excellent. I'm about to order a W995 for work, but I think they're £200 on PAYG. If you can get one 902 or 905 as mentioned. There were some issues with the keypad on the 905, so if you can stretch to, or find a 995 for cheap - do it.

Thanks all for your input, was hoping to stick Nokia but am willing to be converted... Nokia 5230 was recommended by our supplier but I've read poor reviews on its camera quality.

I'll keep hunting

6700 if you must, but not sure on pricing.

The Sony cameras are great though.

I had a Nokia 6300 and a 6500 slide. The cameras worked very well indeed in good light, but give a fair amount of noise in anything else - even an average lit room gives noticeable pixelation in darker areas. Photos in the evening are pretty much useless.
