Nope!
A vastly over rated film in my opinion.

If they did a 3D Lord Of The Rings, then I'd be interested.

You can't '3Dify' a film that wasn't filmed in 3D. It will almost inevitably look like a pile of you know what.

Won't stop them selling it though, unfortunately.

Failboat.

Also sounds like Cameron will be capitalising on the 100 year anniversary.

Can't say I'm surprised. But I am a little disappointed. He's a great film maker, why's he have to be a douche at the same time?

Jon's right, it will likely be a steaming turd. The movie makes for good cinema, and after the 3rd time, it reached a plateau of improvement in my eyes, but it was never really about the plot. I would imagine the 3Dification will play to the cinematic feel which was the strength the whole time.

Will I care though? No.

I'm not convinced by this report at all. I'd think that Cameron and Jackson would have enough on their plate without revisiting their older work even in a supervisory capacity. Everyone on the planet has surely seen Titanic and the Lord Of The Rings trilogy and retrofitted 3D will add little or nothing to any of the films.

I really liked Titanic but was interested in the Titanic story anyway and how the wreck was found relatively intact in 1985.

Relatively intact!?!? Have you ever read the book by the guy who found it (with his huge team) Dr Bob Ballard? The Titanic is in two major pieces and most of the stern section has collapsed in on itself on impact with the bottom. The two sections are around 600ft apart.

Compare that with the Bismark, which sits upright on the bottom in one piece, minus its turrets that fell out when it overturned.

Bow section http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b4/Robert_Ballard_at_TED_2008.jpg Stern section http://www.maritimequest.com/liners/titanic/photos/titanic_stern_marschall.jpg

Boring, sideline- is it just me, or do you find the Amazon advert scrolling down across the text on this page? Way to go. http://www.titanic-titanic.com/robert_ballard.shtml

Nope. Watching Titanic in non-3D gives me a headache, so god knows what the 3D version will be like....

Not interested. I saw the original and 3D will add nothing for me.

Nope. I laughed at the original when Leo snuffed it, I won't waste my money.
