The sudden cessation of the gently low hum that emanates from the fridge-freezer caused much alarm within our househould. This horror was further impacted by the loss of illumination from within the unit. After much panic, changes of fuses and firm tapping that was once an an acceptable method of encouraging a failing electrical appliance to recommence its operation, the fridge-freezer sprang back into life. Perhaps as an unfortunate consequence of its most recent treatment, or perhaps as a part of the initial failure, there is an absence of light within the unit. The familiar warm glow no longer greets us upon opening the unit. I am in need of assistance in procuring a replacement in order to facilitate the use of the fridge-freezer.

HELP! My fridge light bulb has stopped working! Where can I get a new one?

Try the manufacturers website, support section.
Forget the shop you bought it from. They don't have spares, especially for old models.

Independent hardware stores are normally a good bet for that sort of thing.

If you have the manual have you tried googling the part number or even google the fridge +light option?

Far too obvious. Plus this is a tech forum so techy responses are required! :D

That would be The Powers That Be.
There's a limit built into these forums on how many quotes within quotes you can have in a post.
