I have used it on the iPhone for a while now. It means I don't have to get off the couch to check my facts. I wonder if Symbian/RIM have it on their platforms?

Why do you need an IMDB app? Does the website not work properly on the iPhone?

It does, but the app. is actually a whole lot easier to use. It also doesn't have all the rest of the crap that the website has that you simply just don't need if all you want to do is quickly check some brief details on a film. Mark

I don't understand why they don't simply offer a mobile optimised version of the website, as with many other sites. However, I find it amusing to note that there are "apps" available for the Amiga, Acorn and other less common platforms! http://www.imdb.com/interfaces

I sometimes have a mooch to see if I missed something in the film or didn't understand a bit. Most of it is rubbish but there is the odd reasonably intelligent comment.
