Hi all,

Sorry for putting this here, it doesn't really fit in any other forum...
A mate of mine has recently got an iPad and wants to share data between it and his Blackberry on the go. Does anyone have any idea how this might be achieved?

Many thanks,
Ben

Are we talking iPad or iPod here, because the subject says one and the body of the message says the other.

Files, probably not music, but document files (PDF and iWork I would have thought) and the like.

bluetooth should be fine for small files like work documents etc. id think. otherwise, could he set up a wi-fi network between them and transfer files through that?

I've limited knowledge of both devices. But I was initially thinking bluetooth, however some phones don't seem to allow bluetooth file sharing (and though I think the Blackberry would, I'm not sure on the iPad...). Wi-Fi would be another great option, but it would be up to the Blackberry to create the hot spot (I'd have thought, unless there's an app for iOS?), can't Blackberries do this?

Thanks for everyone's replies so far. It's frustrating as I can't get at the devices, and my mate isn't technically minded. Still, all better than my suggestion: Get an iPhone :P
