Was watching the Moto GP at Leguna Seca last night.
The first thing I have to say is how weird it was watching a race at a circuit that I know like the back of my hand. I know every turn, hill and apex of that circuit from racing it so many times on GT3 and GT4
Anyway, never really watching Moto GP before but having watched the last couple I absolutely love it!
The 125 and 250 are great, all about slipstreaming and rider skill, with the lead changing up to 10 times a lap, it makes for really great racing.
I haven't seen the last couple of seasons, but I followed Rossi from his first 125cc race, right through to his first couple of 500 championships. He is an incredible talent, having taken over the domination (at least when I watched it) from Mick Doohan.
The best 500 race I saw, before they scrapped the 500cc 2-stroke for the 4-stroke 1000cc bikes, was Doohan winning by 0.002 of a second from his teammate, incredible race.
Since getting into Moto GP back in the mid 90s, I haven't been able to watch F1, it is just a boring procession, in comparison.

@Big_D, some of the race action was amazing! I haven't seen racing like that in F1 for at least 5 years.
The rate of change of positions is incredible and the slip streaming actually works.
I love the quick double swaps where people over take and then get overtaken back on the same corner. It shows that the overtake has to actually work as they can't just stick a huge car in the way to stop the come back.
