Yes but not just yet. Still have to finalise a bank job. Bought for £2 million in 1997 so worth £13 million now. In her dreams, that is seriously over valued. Some mug will probably pay that much just because of who lived there. Nice conservatory, pool and nice big rooms but heck it is a mish mash of styles in there are not all complementary. Whoever moves in there needs to spend a fortune on an interior designer.

I quite like their style, suits their characters I think. At least it doesn't look like most celebrity home which all look like they've been done by the same interior designer.
I agree it is over priced in the climate but some rich tycoon might pay it.

Hmm, maybe if we pump out a few more kids and get on the benefits gravytrain, the goverment will pay for us to live there. Looks nice from the outside, with a ghastly interior.

And there was me thinking, 'I just want a house far enough away from the road for a good speaker setup in our annual two days of good weather'...

First you need to be a muslim preferably somaili and have around 15 kids. That will take time to pop out, even if she is willing. Yes nice from outside and some rooms are quite nice but most of the rooms have appalling interiors. It would not be that difficult to make it look better.

I've only ever seen it once, but I did watch Cribs on the telly. I was amazed at how 23 year old rap stars from Detroit (kind of thing) had massive homes full of crystals and silks and all sorts of period (type) furniture. It went on throughout the program- wood, fabrics, brass, crystal etc.
If I was minted, I would have one hell of a house, granted, but it would be a very modern creation with a bit of futuristic thrown in. Don't ask me what exactly, I'd need an architect with some imagination; but Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen wouldn't get a look in.

Hoe much do you think that they actually paid for it? They probably had a publicist mentioning that their client was going to be on MTV's Cribs and they could get their products into the home for a fee or the client will pay a promotional amount to gush about said bowling alley/cinema room/swimming pool if they installed it. Plus a lot of stuff they get for free anyway.

Actually, thinking about it, if I had £13m to drop on a house I wouldn't buy some old pile that some geriatric had been rolling round in and then spend christ knows how much more doing it up. I'd pay someone to build a house for me that's just how I liked it from the start. I'd imagine you can get quite a lot of bespoke house for £13m, especially in today's market.
Plus you could probably get some money off Channel 4 for that bloke from Grand Designs to come round and poke about a bit.

I would agree, plus there are a lot of architects looking for work. In fact now is probably the perfect time for a self build home. Only if you can get the owner to be realistic about the land price.
