Interesting, PC Pro talking about comparative speed of 2 year old dual Xeon versus Core i7, did the test on my 1.6Ghz laptop and it trounced the dual Xeon workstation as well!  Had all 8 cores of the laptop working flat out, for 202 seconds, though. Edit: They have the source code (99 lines), so somebody could try and convert it for OS X as well (original is Linux, David Fearon converted it to Windows)... |

You've converted it in XCode already?  Just re-ran it, without doing a remote session to install a new scanner on my outlaw's new computer and it ran in 199 seconds. |
