I just read an article on the BBC News website about films that make blokes cry:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-10814813

So come on - which parts, of what films have made people here cry?

I cried at the part where the poor people are locked up as the water rises in Titanic and the bloke drops the keys.

First one that comes to mind is the scene in Toy Story 2 where Jessie's owner grows up and loses interest in playing with her. Brings tears to my eyes every time.

Here's the scene on YouTube: Clicky

There are more, but these always get me:
Green Mile - when Eduard Delacroix meets his end.
Spartacus - when Lentulus ushers away Varinia from the cross
Ben-Hur - when Judah finds his Mum & Sister in the catacombs
Nil By Mouth - when Val dances with her Mum

All of it.

I've honestly never cried at a film, though I do remember being a bit moved by Mask as a young kid...

Particularly the last 10 mins or so. Another very powerful film is Cinema Paradiso. Get the Director's Cut and when you get through that you'd have to have a heart of stone not to have shed a few tears. Also Amadeus, Un coeur en hiver and Gerard Depardieu's Cyrano and Jean de Florette/Manon des sources.

La Vita Bella (Life is Beatiful), an Italian film (with English subtitles) about a Jewish family living in Italy during WWII.

The scene in "Up" where Ellie grows up and dies (I made the stupid, stupid mistake of imagining if that were me and my long-term girlfriend).

I didn't cry in Schindler's list, but I found the whole experience very moving, and it put me on a downer for a few days.

I'll add more as I think of them.

Up is one that is mentioned in the BBC article. I've not seen it yet, but it seems that it does move quite a few people to tears!

Killed me. But tbh, I'm an emotional disaster. I cry at movies all the time. Even TV gets me sometimes when it's well written.

My most recent tearfest was The Notebook.

Me too.

I cry when they're emotional, be that happy or sad. I can't remember the last film I saw where I wasn't trying to dry my eyes before the lights came up...

I've never found one that made me cry. But I found one (and only one) that made me angry.
The Pianist.
I wanted to jump into the TV and beat the crap out of Nazi's.
