Post subject:  random encounters with the female species
hm bit of an odd thread this and really not sure how to explain this so ill just speak my mind and hope the semi normal entitys of this forum understand what im trying to ask etc :cry:

That model in training that I was meant to photograph for her portfolio that I mentioned ages ago, it didn't really kick off as I cant remember why, Shes not a friend or anything yet she still has my mobile number from ages ago when we were going to arrange a photoshoot but as it didn't happan so theres no need for her to speak to me again, This is what confuses me, she texts me on a very daily basis asking how I am etc and it happans so often that I "expect" her to text me asking how I am etc, I met her through my bengali friend, shes a friend of bengali friend yet im not her friend but she never ever texts bengali friend so wtf? i mentioned that to bengali friend aswell so it doesn't make sense. Ive asked this girl if we could meet up etc as it makes no sense just texting and not seeing in person, and when I did ask she agreed, but she ended up not well :( second time I tried she got ill again, then I ask her few months later if we could meet up but it was bad timing cos I was annoyed at something,probably having one of my "angry scot" days and didn't reply to her text when she said "to do what?" as I was meant to reply to say just to hang out and possibly get to know each other better etc if that was possible. I remember bengali friend saying that he was wanting to ask her out for me even though I didn't fancy her and I got all paniky incase he scares her off or something and he was like "do you want her?" etc and I just wasn't sure, she said to me that noone wants her which is weird, So anyone have any "normal" advice what a normal person would do in this eccentric situation? would be awesomely appreciated :cry:

I'll let you into a little secret, okay?

Normal people don't actually exist. Everyone is weird in some way. Everyone is a bit "eccentric" and a bit "foreign".

My advice:

  1. Thank your friend for his wanting to help but ask him not to
  2. You can never have too many friends
  3. Chill out
  4. Have fun
  5. Don't rush - just see what happens
  6. You're a good chap - you'll work it out

Women are fun and strange and normal and not normal and emotional and sometimes unstable and sometimes more stable then us and good and naughty and deeply, wonderfully beautiful and fearsome warriors and basically damned good fun. They make you laugh, cry, shout, whisper, run, stop, happy, sad, angry, relaxed, bored and excited - sometimes all at the same time.

And yes - they are incredibly confusing.

However, women aren't a problem to be solved - they're something to be enjoyed, treasured and adored.... ....even if they're just a friend. ;)

  • Understand the difference between a sex and a species.
  • Capitalise consistently
  • Explain to the rest of the forum the concept of "very daily"
  • Cheer up, relax, and just enjoy life. Make friends, but only as your (platonic, friendship) relationship develops with people. I've never understood how anyone can go out and look for a (non-platonic) relationship. It seems to involve forcing yourself to like/think/believe rather than just happening upon a relationship by virtue of past events developing into it.
