It looks pretty dreadful, to be honest.
For what it is, it is severely overpriced. It is just a web tablet. No local apps etc. So it will need a permanent internet connection. Given the price is almost on a par with the iPad, it is going to have a real struggle on its hands.
It needs to be a couple of hundred bucks cheaper than the iPad to stand a chance of success.
Also, because of its history, I wouldn't touch one. Let TechCrunch back in and rename it the CrunchPad, like it was supposed to be, and I might consider buying one, but I don't want to buy it from these rip-off merchants.
