That's the problem, you see.

AWWWWWW WTF NO1S LOOKING IN HARDWARE FORUM EVAR. I MUST POST MEETING PLACES.

Lol, I do post hardware usually when there is a problem or query, but this time I wanted it fixed rapido. Though it seems that wont be the case... (see below :) )

--------------------------------------------------

When I just loaded the PC up this morning it installed a large number of update files (registry location by the looks of it). Upon completion it loaded into windows, and hey presto the purple hue was back! The thing is that this didnt not exist on the windows loading screen (as it had previously) and only appeared when windows loaded.

So I tried rolling back drivers, but it was already using the rolled back driver, then installed the new driver (to no avail) and rolled that back - at which point it went back to normal again.

So... why is this rather odd occurance happening? It has now happened on both the drivers I have used, as above I had already tried many other remedies of the simple stuff. Worth me running Hijack this?

Run drivercleaner to get rid of the nvidia drivers & reinstall?
Check for recent updates?
