Okay, here goes:

I've recently finished my new build consisting of:

Core i7 860 (Stock)
DFI MI P55-T36
4Gb Corsair Dominator XMS3 (1,333mhz)
GTX460 pretty OC'd, but only a tiny bump on voltage
Silverstone 450w SFT PSU
2 HDD's

Well, here's the issue, on some boots, it won't boot, I get the Windows logo thing for it loading, but after that, just a black screen. Other times it's perfectly fine. Weird? Any ideas.

Second problem:
Because I'll be using a bay reservoir soon as I get a new pump, I have no DVD drive, so I bought an external one. Well, here's the issue; it works, when it feels like it. Most annoying, as well as this, if I disconnect it, all my USB ports decide to shut off, so my mouse and keyboard stop working, or freeze as it were, the lights on the keyboard stay on, but they won't go off if I press Caps Lock for example.

And the final issue (hopefully):
My wireless USB adapter; well I've been through 2 so far, and this latest one? i went out to PCWorld to buy a Belkin one. Anyway, I install the drivers, and Device manager knows that the adapter is there and is a WiFi USB card, but Network Sharing Center just refuses to acknowledge it. Why?! It's really starting to bug me, seeing as the only way to get Web access in my room is through wireless. I've downloaded the latest drivers from the Belkin site as well, no joy there.

*Note: This last issue may be resolved, but not sure atm.*

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

Tried booting machine with just 1 stick of ram in - might be a faulty stick.

Failing that what happens if you boot with just the 1 hdd with the 2nd disconnected- especially if 1 is Sata and the other IDE.

Looking at your 2nd problem makes me wonder if the PSU is underpowered or one of the power rails is dropping too low.

Solved the boot issue, stupid wireless drivers, which leads me on to the second problem.

DFI are useless. The board has an issue with its USB ports, many topics on both Clunk.org and TomsHardware confirm this. So I've set up an RMA with SCAN, the board's faulty. So I'm not going to be using it.

Thanks for the help :)
