I'm moving house, and I have to give up my computer room for a computer cubby hole. So I'll struggle for enough room to house my two Samsung SM226BWs.
Fair enough, I suppose I don't mind making sacrifices here and there, especially when the missus agreed to a single big monitor

- providing I sell the Samsungs to make up the bulk of the outlay.
Sub-£200 would be nice, but I think I could stretch to £250 if it was worth it.
So, it will be a 1920x1080 minimum I'm after. I'd like a 30" but she'd kill me if I spent that much cash, and 27" models don't seem all that special when boasting the same resolution as most 24s (opinions welcome on this point).
But, what to go for, are LED monitors worth it? I hear their colour reproduction and white level isn't great. Or what about an IPS panel? There are 23" 1920x1080 models out there at the top end of my budget.
Any thoughts?
[edit] Just seen
this, looks nice.
