Just noticed a weird thing on my iPhone calendar. I've got an event scheduled for 8am on a specific date. I want to set an alert for it the night before. However, the choices for an alert are: 5, 15, or 30 minutes before, 1 or 2 hours before, or 1 or 2 days before.

In iCal on OSX you can say how many hours before you want to do it. This is annoying as I want a reminder the evening before, not at 6 in the morning, or 8 in the morning the day before.

I think it has always been that way. Just don't set it for 1 day before. In my experience that makes the alert go off at midnight which is not good.

It's a bit of a fail IMO. You can set it on the mac iCal apparently and it should work, but I can't connect my iPhone to my mac.
