Hi all, am really struggling with this one.
I have windows 7 pro and have downloaded and installed xpmode and virtual PC. I have created a virtual PC. I have pwoered down the VM and then through the VPC interface copied and renamed so I have 2 VPCs.
in the first VM I install some software which is great. I then power this VM down and start the copied VM. I now discover that this copy also has the same software installed. This is very strange as it was not even running.
the vmc file names are different.
Question is this, how do I seperate out these VMs which so far appeared to be tied together?
regards
Alan

it would seem that the VM copy is in sync with the original VM install
i would try deleting the copy and setting up a new install so you have 2 separate VM installs of the same required system ...
