Yes I was like that. I do plan to get an iPhone 5 this year as the white iPhone 4 took so long. but other than that my main phone is now 6 years old, and positively geriatric by comparison to everyone else's. It did what I wanted and synced to a mac so no need to change. Though its batteries are starting to fade, so I might have to put it out to pasture soon.

I'll be skipping the iPhone 5 and going for the iPhone 6 whenever that comes out. I'll be half way through a 24 month contract by the time the iPhone 5 comes out.

I am opting for a 12 month contract but will probably not upgrade for a while, as long as it does what I want.

4.3.1 is on its way, should arrive in the next 1 - 2 weeks.
Hopefully it will fix the iTunes problem of forgetting where you left off playing. It has been driving me nuts, having 20 minutes to listen to an Audible book and spending 10 minutes trying to find where I left off listening to it last time, because iTunes has decided to skip back a couple of hours!

iOS 4.3.1 released yesterday - a few bug fixes apparently! Wish they'd test these things properly before releasing them, that's another 600-odd Mb download. Hey ho, downloading now... wish me luck.

Just heard on the twitterverse that the update is causing battery life issues, anyone else having this? I haven't installed yet due to not being near a computer.

4.3 killed my battery in about 2 hours. 4.3.1 is looking much better... With 4.3, it decided I needed to have Skype loaded in the background - even though I had killed it about a month before upgrading and hadn't loaded it since. Once I killed it again, the battery life wasn't too bad.
