Do you mean passwords to log-on - if you choose to save them, they're stored in the OS X Keychain. Open up Keychain Access (in Utilities) to see a list of all saved passwords, if you click on the triangle icon next to "Passwords" in the left hand side, then click on "AppleShare" it should help filter them out.

Somewhere in the com.apple.* plist set? Quick look in my ~/library/prefernces folder suggests it'll be either com.apple.recentitems.plist or com.apple.finder.plist. Have a dig though those.

Yeah tried those. No biggie, have added them again now but would be good to know which file stores the info. Used to be easy on OS 9 :)

Using FSEventer, I found that Finder modifies com.apple.recentitems.plist located in ~/Library/....

However I think this is just recently connected servers, and not the server listing...

Well, if you use the "Connect to Server" option, under the Go menu, it adds an alias to whichever servers you connect to, here:
Home > Library > Recent Servers >

Is that what you're after?
These then appear in the little pop-up menu in the Connect to Server dialogue box - the one that looks like a clock icon.

No I had done a clean install but didn't want to copy my old library back so wanted to know where the file was stored. Copied the library in the end as I had some passwords saved in remote desktop that I needed.

Thanks for your help.

Carolyn
