Generally speaking, I think proprietary software gives a better/more polished user experience.
I love the idea of open source, I support a few open source projects.

At the moment, Linux is too restrictive for me because of it's licensing, it's gone in the complete opposite direction to proprietary, and I think it's gone too far.

I got my Mac because I always wanted one, I had the money and I wanted it. I love the user experience of OS X, I love some of the little apps which are OS X only (although alternatives are available).

OS X isn't perfect, but in my opinion, it gives a better, cleaner experience.

I'd keep OS X on the PPC mini if it was me, Adam. Or you could take Saspro's offer :roll: :twisted:
