Well this has kept me amused during boring Outlook training at work.

Yes I have installed Lion from a disc without downloading it from my iTunes account.

Yes I have a zones 2-6 annual travel card AND an Oyster. Woooo me!

Not sure if you want to know that but thought I'd share anyway :-)

I can happily confirm that creating a bootable version of Lion on a USB stick is so simple that even I can do it - at 2.30am after a night out on the sauce*.

From memory this is the simplest installation process yet - agree to the Ts&Cs, enter password and half an hour later you're looking at the new iCal in all its skeuomorphic pleather glory. Luckily there was no hangover to contend with as well when I ran the updater.

*As to why I would attempt it in that state, well that's a whole other issue.
