HP are spinning off their PC business and apparently are completely dropping WebOS into the bargain. No more tablets, no more phones.

A moment's silence please for the final passing of what was once Palm, without whom none of this fancy iphone/android stuff would be happening.

Yes but it was competition. Hard to compete with the big boys now. Especially with there huge piles of cash.

It's rather sad considering most people that bought the TouchPad gave it such good reviews. Unfortunately it'll never really sell because the market is already so dominated by a well-known brand at one end, and a well-known name at the other.
