A friend of a friend has forgotten their Windows password - I'm waiting to find out which version of Windows they even have (I know to go into safe mode if it's XP), but any ideas what to do if it's Vista/7?

So far I've found this:

http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/

But I'd much prefer some sort of boot shortcut if possible, especially since it isn't my machine and I'm dealing with a civilian ;)
