All, Does anyone have any brief documentation that I could look at on how to set-up mysql on redhat5. How long does an installation take. Is it possible to set mysql in an active/passive cluster?
regards
Alan

Not on Red Hat, but one of these might help you: http://library.linode.com/lamp-guidesI find their guides to be quite good, very simple. CentOS or Fedora should give you the closest guides needed

Hi, thanks for the reply. Does this install take into account that MYSQL is now part of the Oracle environment? ie is it still possible to do a 'yum install' on mysql
