All,
Does anyone have any brief documentation that I could look at on how to set-up mysql on redhat5.
How long does an installation take. Is it possible to set mysql in an active/passive cluster?

regards

Alan

Not on Red Hat, but one of these might help you:

I find their guides to be quite good, very simple. CentOS or Fedora should give you the closest guides needed :)

Hi,
thanks for the reply. Does this install take into account that MYSQL is now part of the Oracle environment?
ie is it still possible to do a 'yum install' on mysql

regards

Alan

Hi,
Do you know if MYSQL can be configured in active/passive mode?

Thanks for all the information so far.
