Post Google buys iOS email client developer
Google buys Sparrow developer

So...why? Why would google buy a developer whose only product is an iOS/Mac OS email client?

Sucks for the people who've paid for the iOS version of Sparrow (Less than 4 months old) as they've said they won't be adding any more features (push notifications, for example).

I would imagine. But you can still have a dedicated app.
