Any of you web developers planning anything cool with these new features?
I imagine that most Chrome and Firefox users update their browser to the latest version fairly promptly, and it's now the majority of users. Of course MS are doing their own thing, so I expect everyone will be ignoring them.
https://hacks.mozilla.org/2013/02/hello ... x-calling/It doesn't enable anything that you can't do with Flash, but given the move away from Flash and the large number of features which can't be implemented without it, I guess there's still a lot of development to be done on browser standards.
I am thinking of using it on the "contact us" page of our website. I just need to figure out the best way to integrate web calls into the existing telephone queuing system, which should be a lot of fun! I'll probably implement a custom SIP interface.
