Afternoon all,

One of the people I regularly see on the train to work has asked me about online backup for his 2008 MacBook (not sure if it's a Pro or not). I had suggested Time Machine and an external hard drive, but he seems pretty set on online backup services.

While I've got no idea on how much space he'll need, how much he's willing to pay, or what connection and possible data caps he might have, can anyone recommend services, or who are reputable providers of online backup? The only thing I do know is that it must be Leopard (OS 10.5) compatible.

Many thanks,
Ben

There are loads I think that could try Carbonite, Oxygen, to start. They sit as menu bar items so can be easily accessed.
