Hi all,

I am trying to find the best solution for a friend's company for their cloud provider.
They want levels of security based upon login (ie not everyone can read all documents).
It has to be scaleable (expand to meet their needs later on)

Also never delete docs would be nice (to avoid accidental/malcious deletions). I presume there are options for a permanent append only services?

Any ideas? Has to be global, reasonably priced etc.....

Many thanks for all thoughts.

What functionality do you need? Apart from general documents? ERP, CRM?

Office 365 with Sharepoint would be a good start for Office documents, but there are a plethora of decent ERP and CRM solutions out there, but they are often restricted or tailored to certain industries.

If you don't want Office, or you need more sharing, the Podio or ShareFile from Citrix are supposed to be very good. We use GotoMeeting for for conferencing and collaboration meetings.

Thanks for the replies, guys.

The company in question needs all its data always accesible, europe wide. And they'd prefer never have to buy a server. Hence keeping it all in the cloud.
It needs to be scaleable (ie grow to meet demand) and have multi layerered security. ie manager chooses user's rights.

I guess what they're really looking for is a corporate dropbox with different security levels.
And an append only server would be great to avoid accidental malicious deletions.

Thanks,
D
