I agree. Until 4k TV's are widespread this is a useless for most. Until Apple announces it in a future iPhone it will be just for a few. ;)

Great for sport and wildlife, even if you're just printing off stills. More is always better because it gives you more to work with after the event.

In theory, but not necessarily in practice.

4k isn't that high so I'd hope the noise levels would be reasonable compared to a full normal still shot on the same camera.

What may be an issue is the SD bandwidth, requiring unreasonable levels of compression. Burst mode on real cameras uses an expensive RAM buffer, which is why they're limited to a dozen or so frames.
