OK folks, I've seen a better PowerMac going, which I am interested in (since it will run Leopard).

The specs. are:

Apple PowerMac G4 (Mirror Door)
1.25Ghz CPU (Not sure if it's "Dual" configuration, from what I can tell they all are?)
1024Mb of RAM
120GB Hard Drive
CDRW/DVD Combo
Airport WIFI

Can anyone give me an indication (ASAP!) of approx. what I should expect to pay for this?

They're not all dual at all. For example, I have a 1.25Ghz single processor model.
I'd probably expect a price tag of about £100 if it's in good cosmetic condition.

Ah, good, I was aiming for the £90 mark :). How's a single core CPU going to handle Leopard, is it going to crawl?

And thanks Nick, very useful!

With a gig of RAM it handles 10.5 just fine.
If you're gonna throw anything heavy duty at it though it's best to upgrade to it's maximum, which I think is 2GB.

What's "heavy duty"? I just want to potter about on my own Mac and have a bit of a play. Who knows, I might like it.

Given the relatively low cost of RAM, I may just chuck in an extra GB anyway. :)

Video editing with loads of compositing or image manipulation with loads of layers.
Basically, anything that'll need a lot of rendering. Everything else should be hunky-dory.

Actually, I'm thinking that I may have a dual 1.25 now, not a single one. Hmm …

Or, just select About This Mac from the Apple menu. It tells you in the pop up window. (Dual 1.25GHz G4, 2MB L3 cache per proc. and 2GB DDR SDRAM here, FWIW).
