Ever since I updated to iOS 7.0.3 the iPhone has been a [LIFTED] to use. I can access apps but cannot close them with the home button very easily, and the same applies to accessing all open apps. I have restored the phone but it is still sluggish. Does anyone have any ideas or similar experiences?

Reading around just now and I don't see anyone posting about this.
Is there any way to revert to the previous version?

It affected my iPad for a while but is working fine now. Somehow I must have done some magical combination of keys that unlocked it. I have tried restoring the phone and that has not worked. I will be ringing three in the morning to see what can be done. It is a software problem but the home button does not seem to want to work all the time.

Well it turns out that it was a hardware problem with the home button. So it looks like I will be getting a replacement or repair.

Well it seemed purely coincidental with the update that it had to be down to that. A friend with an 4 said intermittent home button problems were common, and his plays up on day and is fine now. Anyway I discovered the software solution so can cope till Thursday when I swap it over. It is wiped anyway, and restored as a new phone.

Today I went into the Apple store to swap over my iPhone and expecting to have to pay £209 repair fee, though fortunately three had agreed to foot the bill. So would have only been out of pocket for a few days.

Anyway the first thing that the Apple genius noticed was that the phone was bulging on one side. It turned out that the phone was covered under another warranty covered by the battery so nothing to pay out and a nice new open 64Gb phone.

While I was in there I discovered how to access the recovery disk so I can now repair the drives without needing to make a boot disk.

So now I am restoring the phone and will be up and running after a interesting day out.

We need an Apple Store here. We have to send the iPhone away for 2 weeks, after which time, of you are lucky, it will be returned repaired. Mine was sent back 3 times in an 8 week period for repair before they eventually acknowledged the problem and replaced it. I got a Samsung candybar phone as a replacement for the 6 weeks the phone was away - and only after I made a fuss.

I think Apple could get a store in every major city in Europe without much problem. They probably have a small team who have to travel to to each site to check its suitability before they proceed.

Didn't Apple open a store in Berlin earlier this year? Or is that a huge trek from where you're based?
