Ok I hope this is the right forum for this.
I migrated to Plusnet last week and since then I have had some strange issues. I'm using an iMac 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, OS X 10.5.7, iTunes 8.2
I am having some strange issues, certain sites don't load at all e.g. Meebo.com, others load partially or erratically, e.g. macuser.co.uk, smoking apples.com, the tital banners appear but the content does not. (same is true if I try to access them through my iPhone on n my WAN)
On Mail I have two issues, my MobileMe account doesn't download (Though I can access it on my iPhone and web browser) and outgoing mail doesn't send on my plusnet account (I have checked several times I have the right server details).
Finally I am unable to download anything from the iTunes store.
Plusnet helpdesk have been very courteous and have run many diagnostics but can't find anything wrong, I've ran speed tests with various result but there seems to be a good connection from 1.5-3mps usually around 2.5
Does anyone have any ideas where the problem could be, or does anyone else have similar issues with Plusnet on a mac.
Thanking ye all in advance Fra

Isn't as much of a problem as it used to be these days, but could it be the MTU settings?

Ironies of ironies....the opendns.com link you did won't load!! So useful having a little loading symbol in my title bar telling me something that isn't happening!!

MTU. For ADSL in the UK, it should be set to 1458. If there isn't an option on your router to change it, try changing it on your mac. This page tells you how, but it's not permanent. I don't know how to change it permanently, you'll have to do some googling. However, you should be able to change it on the router. That said, it might not be the problem! Edit: Just looked at the adslnation link and that should give you all the info you need.

Have you looked at the logs from your modem/router?
They might be able to give a few clues.

I've had Plusnet problems with sites not loading, but only for the last 48 hours.
