https://bgr.com/2014/06/27/top-5-androi ... june-2014/I'm trying Battery Defender, seems well thought out though I suspect there was 'foreign English' translation going on... I've no use for the rest, really, but see you what you make of them.

The last one - What the actual F?
Typical of the different philosophies of the two user sets really. All of these are modifiers of behaviour, not new behaviours. Android users are the people who want that, Apple users are the people who don't care; because at this point the ability to customise is about the only differentiator - the two OS's are essentially functionally identical, like these days most small cars kind of look the same because they've all solved the same problems in the most obvious ways.
I can almost guarantee the reaction of any iPhone owner being presented with at list is 'well, why would I want to do any of those things anyway'? It's a fundamental difference of philosophy. And given that, the incredibly click-baitey headline is more or less pointless. It's like saying 'the iPhone can't detect cosmic rays' - well, no, it can't but nobody buying it expects it to do that anyway.

I'm an Android user and I'm not interested in any of those apps.

Battery Defender seems pretty rubbish in that it continually turns off data no matter how you set it!
