Hi all,

A small business whose IT work I support - I do most of the work by remote access, through a logmein.com account which is always running on the server.
They used to have 10 XP Pros, which I'd RDP into from the server once I'd got into that through Logmein.

They've changed all the machines to W7 Home Premium. Which doesn't have RDP.
Can anyone recommend a good remote access tool that we could have always running on the clients, without having to pay for many more logmein accounts?
Of course it would be IP restricted to only accept incoming requests for control from the server....is VNC too weak even with this caveat?

Something else? Any recommendations?

Everything's NATed off t'Interweb proper, of course.

Ta muchly,
Diz

VNC is probably your best bet tbh. You'd have to install the server end on all the desktop PCs and then run the client from your admin box. if it's NATed from the interweb and you're not forwarding the ports on the router to anywhere, you're relatively safe.

Meraki Systems Manager would let you connect to each machine remotely and is free :)
