Firstly my bad. I thought that Heather had taken on the task on her own and as a result I have not been back to this thread. (Coupled with the fact that I have been away from the computer for a week).

In answer to your question, the efforts of all of you are bloody amazing.

As this is the only photograph we have of her at that age the "guessing" is well in order. I like the fact that the image still looks original with some texture left in it. As soon as any of you are happy please host a high res image for me to download. I can't wait to get them printed to show these to the family.

I'll finalise the image this week, then. There are one or two tweaks I want to make, but then it'll be done.

I'm glad you're impressed. It is amazing what can be achieved with software and a bit of know-how these days.

I think we both saw it as a challenge. It’s been interesting to see how much can be patched into the tears and holes.

Like Heather, I’ll just have another look - there is a bit of repeating going on in places - I want to nix as much as I can. Then I’ll post a nice hi-res version for you.
