hello all, I downloaded IE8 the other day to give it a try, well it was not as good as IE7. I therefore uninstalled IE8 and IE 7 is now my browser except that
the opening page of IE7 appears asking me to provide required settings, when I do this it fails and does not seem to be able to resolve itself. Anyone else had this sort of issue?
regards
Alan

Might be worth trying to re-install IE7

Or just reinstall ie8 and not use it - use Firefox or Safari instead.

thanks gavomatic, I guess that is an option. it is just so annoying that MS and IE is so annoying.
I might try uninstalling IE7 and then doing a re-install.
cheers

Do you not have a System Restore point prior to installing IE8 that you could go back to?
