Anyone used it?

I just signed up and made my first purhcase. So far so good, I'm impressed! :D

It was very easy to create my account, and once I'd done it, it was literally just a couple of clicks on the site I bought my goods from.

It also saved me a fiver, which is always nice.

It's a very good concept indeed, but my bank don't agree with me on that point. Every transaction I have made using Google Checkout has been instantly declined by my bank and my card blocked for fraud investigation.

Needless to say, I avoid it until my bank realises it's a safe method of payment.

Peter.

How about voting with your custom and take your banking elsewhere?

I do have accounts and a lot of different banks, but I try to keep all card transactions to a particular one. Unfortunately, there's now only one bank in the village, so it's difficult.

From a developers POV its really good to integrate with - I wrote a bit of software that I charge for a pro version, initially I was only going to use paypal but about 30% of payments go via google checkout (also you can set up coupons really easily).
