Installed on Sunday after the regular backup. Seems to take a very long time to install but it was the combo update.
No problems so far but I haven't used the Mac much since then.

Yup, absolutely nothing to report here as well, and it's been days. Jolly good.

If I'm currently running 10.5.7 on my Mac - which I am - will installing this update also update Safari to version 4? I'm still using V.3 as I don't like the way V.4 has had the page loading blue bar removed.

If you run Software Update, I think you get the option to deselect it. You do get the option to back out of SU if you don't want to go ahead. From a personal point of view, I've been running Safari 4 for a while now, and you get used to it. I don't like it, won't swap to an alternative, but you get used to it. I just send regular bug reports about the refresh button being in the wrong place and so on.

You could always change back to have the blue bar using the terminal.
There are myriad websites with the codes on how to "undo" all the bad things that Safari 4 brings along.

It's been a while, but the last time I looked everything seemed to be for Safari 4 Beta, and those don't work with the full release. Unless you've a link?
