Google Mail accounts in Mail.

Since about last week, my Gmail account hasn't been going online in Mail.
I've reset the password, checked all my settings in Mail, and I'm still having no joy.
Anyone got any bright ideas?
It's not exactly life and death as it's a rarely used account, but it'd be nice to get to the bottom of this.
All the IMAP settings are as per Google's guide.

I think Google use imap.googlemail.com for their IMAP server, but I've found that imap.gmail.com works for me...Port 993 (SSL ticked) and password authenticated...

Mine is working over my iPhone - but I did have to enable IMAP in the control panel on the Googlemail website. Is it possible this setting got reset?

And, of course, every thing's now working on the account.

Thanks for the suggestions though! I was/am using the imap.gmail.com on port 993 (SSL'd) as well, and yes, the IMAP option is checked on the account settings.

Possible GMail outage then? Perhaps not effecting everyone just a small subset of people called Alex?

Heh, a friend's Facebook status last night was of GMail playing silly buggers with her account, so I was wondering.
Turns out it was just a cookie issue at her end.

My GMail account in Mail has downloaded a whole load of e-mails again. I don't want duplicates! I've also recently changed to using the Exchange connectivity on miPod - are these likely to be related?
