Woo!

I am now looking at the Windows desktop :D

Thanks!

Now time to test this RAM out :D

Ok, glad it works now, had this problem on at least three Nvidia boards with at least three sets of ram, some Corsair, some OCZ. Its ok once you know, but I think its a flawed setup, the BIOS on Nvidia chipset boards.

Hmm...

If the FSB is 1066 what speed can I run the memory at?

Will it still run at 800MHz?

Or will I need to get a faster CPU and up the FSB to 1333?!?!

I feel like I'm sooooo close with this but it still ain't working :(

I've set the timings to 5-5-5-18 CMD 2.

I've set the speed to 800MHz.

I've set the voltage to 2.0V (and 1.4V for the Northbridge).

I've unlinked the RAM clockspeed from the FSB speed.

FSB 1066MHz.

When I stick the second stick of RAM in I now get the Mobo logo (with the message "press DEL to enter setup" and so on.

But then it doesn't go anywhere.

I pressed TAB to get the POST message and nothing. Just a black screen.

Any more ideas?

I think the board is fussy about ram...a quick google search throws this up, its largely down to the Nvidia chipset.

Something similar was mentioned in one of the threads here I think - I may be confused though (it's happened before ;) )...
