A curious version number, if you think about it.

I'm hoping it's some Apple in-joke.

I just upgraded to Safari 4, mainly because Apple forced me to!
If I wanted to keep on using the iTunes Store I had to upgrade Safari. Grrr.
Anyway, what's with the refresh being in the wrong place?!?
If I want to add a bookmark I'll use Cmd+d.
I'm all for progress in browsers but as far as I can tell Apple's just messed with my head by playing about with the user interface like this. I'll not start moaning about not having the blue loading bar, because I was aware of that particular foible, but the rest is just dammed annoying.
*sigh*

Installed it today on my OSX86 installation.

Pages seem to take much longer to load under this, and it looks arse compared to Safari 3.xx. But it's got a much smaller footprint than the older versions did, and it seems much more responsive in Flash-heavy pages like Youtube and Newgrounds.

I seem to be having another problem with 4.0.4 too. It likes to crash spontaneously and out of nowhere. Anyone else had this?
