I can't be doing with Gnome and the pharisaic zeal that surrounds it

I'm no linux user but my "plan B" is a Linux DVD with kubunto ( sp? ) on it.

Gnome all the way. Never got on with KDE and it, along with its associated applications have always been rather unstable. Gnome may not be pretty, but it sure is reliable.

The OpenSuse stall at FOSDEM has some 30" touch screen computers running the latest version. KDE looks very very shiny indeed!
